I’m currently creating a series of children’s books designed to help kids (ages 7–9) build confidence, resilience and problem‑solving skills through story. Each book introduces relatable characters who face challenges, learn to trust themselves and work with friends, and grow along the way .

Meet The Characters
Through characters like Rusty, Brian, Harry and others, these stories explore real moments children experience, trying something new, feeling unsure and learning to keep going. Each character represents qualities like courage, persistence and self‑belief. They show kids that being brave doesn’t mean being perfect, it means trying, listening and helping others.
Rusty the Prairie Fox
Rusty is curious, thoughtful and learning to believe in himself. Like many children, he sometimes feels unsure when trying something new, but through each experience, he begins to discover that being brave doesn’t mean being perfect … it means trying and noticing when something isn’t right .

Brian the Beaver
Brian is patient, steady and always willing to try again. He reminds children that confidence isn’t about getting everything right the first time, it’s about not giving up and trusting that they can figure things out along the way
Harry the Hare
Lively, social, and always up for a good time, Harry is the one who brings the prairie to life. He shows Rusty that even in the toughest seasons, there's always a reason to celebrate.
THE JOURNEY BEHIND THE STORIES
Each story is created with one goal in mind—to help children build confidence through moments they recognize in their own lives. From trying something new, to speaking up, to overcoming self‑doubt, these stories gently guide kids toward seeing what they are capable of . Research shows that when children are encouraged to keep trying and focus on effort rather than perfection, they develop resilience and a love of learning
